children's gun safety: ages 4-6
A fun 1 hour long class, that is non-shooting and teaches kids what to do if they
encounter a firearm. This class is designed for families with firearms in the house who want to educate their children about safety.
Parents are required to be on site and may attend the class for free.
We use the NRA Eddie Eagle Program:​

First Shots: ages 7-17
A 2-hour-long class for ages 7-17 that introduces handguns using 22 caliber handguns in a safe, controlled environment. We have a First Shots class for 7-12 as well as 13-17, so students learn at an age appropriate level.
Class fee includes the use of firearms, ammunition, eye & hearing protection, and targets.

Ages 7-12: A parent or guardian must attend the class and the range course, and a completed waiver is required.
Ages 13 +: A parent or guardian must complete a detailed student waiver, and they have the option to attend the course with their child
family handgun: 9+ w/ adult
Family Handgun 1 is a 4 hour entry level handgun class designed for families with minimal or no formal handgun training. This class will progress the student through the basic necessities of handling a pistol. Students 17 and under must be accomponied by a parent or legal guardian also attending the class.

Family protection
Students under 21 must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian who is 21 or older. Likewise,
adults 21 and older must be attending with a student who is 20 or younger.
If all students are 21 and over, we recommend you attend Handgun I.
