Due to exceptionally high volume, please be aware that the current processing time for inbound transfers may be 5-7 business days from the date we receive your firearm. If you wish to inquire about a transfer that has been shipped to us AND it has been longer than 7 business days since it was delivered, please do not call us directly. Use the form below to contact us.  Please do not call with your inquiry.  You must submit the form below.

Shooter's World FFL Transfer Policies

Firearm Transfers (Excludes NFA Transfers)

Shooter's World Members: $25 1st firearm, $5 each additional firearm on same transaction.*

Non-member: $59 for each transferred item*

* Any inbound firearm requires a transfer fee. Any outbound transfer requires a transfer fee. You are subject to multiple transfer fees (inbound and outbound) if we receive the firearm and then must ship it back due to any reason, including a denied background, or a canceled order.



NFA Transfers

Effective July 1st, 2021, Shooter's World only accepts NFA transfers originating from Silencershop.com. For these items, as well as items purchased in-store, there are NO TRANSFER FEES.

In certain cases, items may accrue a transfer fee of $129 Minimum. Fees may be adjusted to reflect ACTUAL time spent resolving a situation. Examples include but are not limited to: 

     -  Items no longer wanted
     -  Returns due to DENIED tax stamps
     -  Relocation out of state while items are pending 

Transferring inbound and outbound will require separate transfer fees.

SHOOTER'S WORLD IS NOT ACCEPTING BRACE-EQUIPPED FIREARMS FOR TRANSFER

On November 9th, 2023, a preliminary injunction was issued blocking enforcement of ATF's "FINAL RULE" regulating brace-equipped firearms.

A few online sellers of firearms are offering brace-equipped firearms for sale. 

Pending a permanent resolution to this issue, Shooter's World WILL NOT accept, or transfer, any brace-equipped firearms. We will be reviewing this policy periodically and it may be subject to change as more information becomes available. 

We apologize for any inconvenience.

This policy does not affect normal use of our shooting facilities.
